Overcurrent Trip Automatic Time Reset Indicator Series

FCi-Overcurrent

  • The Fisher Pierce Series 1541/42/43 Faulted Circuit Indicators locate faults quickly and easily. The FCIs prevent repeated reclosing on faulted circuits which minimizes danger to service crews and damage to equipment.

The 1541/42/43 FCIs are available in single-, two-, and three-phase models. The FCIs are designed for underground applications to survive conditions of submergibility, salt spray, and extremes of hot and cold temperatures.

Fault registration and indication is provided by means of a high-intensity LED. The LED is directly integrated into the main sensor housing, mounted remotely, or connected through a fiber optic cable to a remote location.

    • Environmental Protection
Internal components are encapsulated in polyurethane to prevent damage
    • Long Life Battery
Lithium battery used for automatic time reset, LED, or audible alarm is sealed in place to prevent contamination.
    • Inrush Restraint
Standard passive inrush restraint feature minimizes false tripping.
    • Automatic Time Reset
A time-dependent reset function automatically resets the FCI after a fault condition in the absence of voltage or current
    • Immediate Registration of Fault
A true current sensing coil with electronic intelligence provides immediate registration of faults
    • Easy Installation
Single hotstick mounting in underground and padmounted installations with versatile clamp design for various cable diameters
